| The BIP promotes people-to-people development through small-scale training projects. Through the BIP, FIT supports projects designed and delivered jointly by Canadian and Baltic partners that address critical social and economic needs in the region. Projects are funded through cost sharing between the BIP and Canadian and Baltic partners from the public, private and non-profit sectors. Through BIP, FIT has supported partnerships in the areas of health promotion, housing policy, human resource management, environment, institutional support and management, and good governance. | |||||||
